The tooth is out!!!

My tooth finally came out last Thursday. My mom helped me be brave and together we got it out. My mom had the tooth out before I even knew it was out! I put it under my pillow and the tooth fairy came and brought me a dollar. Mom also took me out to celebrate. My brother keeps trying to wiggle his own teeth, but he is silly. They are not loose yet! In just a couple of days the hole where my tooth was is already closing up and the big tooth is moving forward. I am so glad it is out!

Loose Tooth Update

This is my loose tooth. I have been wiggling it a lot and now it can even lay down in my mouth and take a nap. I can move it with my lips and sometimes when I talk it just sticks out of my mouth. Tomorrow I have a sharing time at my school and I wonder if it will be out by then. Thanks for voting on my blog. I liked that!

Trout Tale

I am high jacking Faye's blog by her request to share this great story with you. I would let her help me...but it is now 11pm.
Wednesday night the kids and I walked down to Pine Lake Park. They played on the equipment for a long time, but just before we left we decided to walk down to the lake. There were a lot of people swimming and fishing since it was a nice day. Faye wanted to watch a few of the people that were fishing. We started chatting with one really nice man and his wife, although Faye was quite shy. He asked if she wanted to help reel his fish in if he got one, and use the fish net to get him. She liked that idea. He said, "well then, I really must know your name if you are going to help me. Just in case you run off and play when the fish comes in." She agreed and told him her name and he explained just what to do. We stood around for about 10 minutes and he and his wife were telling us that this was the second night they had been out and hadn't caught anything yet. It was getting late, so we bid them good luck on their fishing and started heading off the long dock. We literally got to the end of the dock and he was calling, "Faye!! I need your help!" We ran back down to the end of the dock, and sure enough there was a nice trout on the line. Faye did great on helping to get the fish in, and of course we took pictures! He made Faye feel like it was all of her effort that made him catch the fish, she was so proud! She called Daddy to say, "I caught my first fish!"

Science Fair at School
Yesterday we had a Science Fair at school. My mom came with me. It was really bright here in this picture. I am in the front row looking down, maybe because the sun was in my eyes. This picture is of all the kids in my class. There was lots of fun booths to go to at the fair. My favorite was the bubbles and the honeycomb bubble. As of today I only have two days of school left. Then I will officially be a first- grader!

Young Author's Workshop
This is what I displayed at our Young Author's workshop at school last week. Each grade presented their work for parents to come and see. My mom was really proud of my work.

No TV Week
My whole school is doing a challenge this week of not watching TV or playing computer games all week. I will get a prize at the end of the week if I can do it.
My mom got me some special books at the library to help keep me busy. We are going to start reading The Cricket in Times Square too. It is a chapter book.
Do you have any other ideas for me of things I can do this week instead of watching my morning cartoons?

Spring Cards
These are the cards that I made with my mom on Spring break. I used glue, markers, tissue paper, crayons, ink and stamps, ribbon, and buttons. I was very happy that we made them. My mom and I got the idea out of the Family Fun magazine.
